area, but you

General
The Club's weekend trip in May is to the Kinlochewe area of the North West Highlands. As many club members will know this is a lovely part of the world.
On the Saturday Miriam plans to complete her last Munro, Slioch .. so here’s hoping for some good weather!
I’ve
booked the whole hostel at the Kinlochewe hotel, which accommodates 12 people.
The hotel currently has a couple of spare rooms, so if you feel like splashing
out let me know
and I’ll see if the rooms are available .. details are on the
hotel website.
If required, I should be able to book more accommodation in Kinlochewe.
Travel
Travel will be by car pool to suit individual plans for the Friday.
Car sharing
and any hill plans for the Friday can be discussed a few days beforehand.
If
you have any specific plans let me know by e-mail so that I can inform others.
Routes
There are numerous options for walking around Kinlochewe. The Corbetts of Meall a’ Ghuibhais, Ruadh-stac Beag, Beinn an Eoin and Baosbheinn are close by. Going slightly further afield, you could tackle the Torridon hills. There is also a wide variety of Grahams. Kinlochewe offers varied and interesting low level walks.
Accommodation
Our main base will be the Kinlochewe Hotel. See their website for details at www.kinlochewehotel.co.uk. The cost for a hostel place will be £18 per person for the two nights, which includes the club subsidy.
What next?
Please e-mail me with your interest as soon as possible so that I can book further accommodation if required.
